Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kurda is a Golden Tinsel dragon whose passions are map making and talking to wild dragons. He has three small scars on his left cheek that shows he's a friend. Kurda doesn't believe in fighting and chooses a brains over brawn morale. He loves Silenxia and fathered the hatchling Cerah, but their bond is ended due to complicated matters and Silenxia takes the Hellfire Wyvern Loki as her new mate. Cerah knows that Kurda is her father and visits him often. Despite they aren't still together, Kurda has never stopped loving Silenxia and he wishes things could be different.
