Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ignipotens means "ruler of fire." Ignipotens's personality is that of a tyrant. He was originally a candidate for leadership of the Fireheart Clan, along with Fireflower and Firedrake, Firebreath's parents. However, Fireflower and her mate were made the leaders, and Ignipotens was forced to simmer in silence. He took his frustration out on a rogue female Striped dragon named Wyr'Valos. She has given birth to five of his children due to his actions.

After Firebreath became leader of the Fireheart Clan, Ignipotens did his best to cause trouble, and when his attempts failed, he tried to assassinate Firebreath. However, Firebreath's superior fighting skills and the assistance of her loyal guard, Galanoth, prevented him from doing so. Instead of killing the dragon who tried to take her life, Firebreath banished him from the clan. He swore a Blood Oath that he would not clean his talons until Firebreath was dead.
