Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Silent Flame is named this because she is mute. Though she can listen and understand because of her verbal troubles her telepathy instead shows up as pictures because the two areas of her brain causing her to form language was stunted by her lack of a voice. With the help of Albin the Albino and Heal Tinsel she has made a sign language that is taught to everyone in her cave so she too can speak.

Her mate, Electrik Strik, was the first outside of Heal Tinsel and Albin the Albino to learn it.

Also since her ability to breathe fire is more controlled than others she is responsible to keep torches lit in the cave(for the hatchlings and her owner) she is also the firebreathing teacher.

As there are more dragons in the cave their owner has now given them assigned jobs to make the cave run smoother. Silent Flame is a Firebreathing Teacher and Torch Lighter.
