Aria dragons are a brightly-colored and sprightly breed, perhaps most adored for their lyric calls. Their song-like melodies fill the areas they inhabit; their coos resemble those of birds, only more elegant and refined. They have fairly strong magical capabilities, but tend to reserve these strengths for last-minute defense, choosing to live their lives in simple peace. Arias, sticking to the tropics, typically live quite far from human settlements, giving rise to the previously held belief that they had gone extinct.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Dolores is quite possibly the most brainless dragon in the home cave.  Unable to concentrate on any given thing for very long, she instead blindly follows her Gold 'friend' Tarnished Brilliance, agreeing with everything and anything she says just so that some other dragon can do all her thinking for her.  No self-respecting male attempts to court her, if it can be helped; despite being a Bright Pink, she is extremely bland and unappealing to behold, and the vast majority of males want their offspring to have at least some semblance of intelligence and good looks.  A running joke in the cave is to place an egg-shaped stone in Dolores' nest as she slumbers, causing her to shriek and giggle shrilly when she realises she's 'going to look so cute with a hatchling', only to have the stone abandoned and discarded when she loses interest and forgets she even had an 'egg' to begin with.
