Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Penk Fireworks is a rather explosive dragon.  She is mostly quiet and keeps to herself, but whenever a bug enters the cave she will start yelling like a siren and blowing fire everywhere to get the insect away from her.  Because of that, a few of the Pygmies volunteered to keep a special area of the cave bug-free so she could have a place to stay without screeching.  The plan has worked out well so far and the only six-legged creature to get past the defense was quickly snapped up and eaten while Fireworks was sleeping.
