And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

A bleak little dragon who is constantly veiled in epic proportions of angst. Nobody's quite sure what she's so moody about all the time, but one thing is certain; she's not a creature you want to mess with. The phrase 'misery loves company' has always been dear to her heart, and so she set about learning a particularly nasty type of magic to spread her woe. This magic gives her beautiful yet eerie singing a wicked side; any creature that hears it will begin to age at double the normal rate, and sometimes even faster if they're exposed to the song for long periods of time...
