Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Outside of night patrol, Drae sheds the impersonal duty-driven persona for one considerably more friendly. Nevertheless, he tends to slink off after a good bout of politicking or socializing. The Nebula is an impressionable dragon, and he is aware of this. For this reason he tends not to hang out with "outcasts" as he will invariably pick something up from everyone he meets. It is also the same reason he only socializes in quick bursts before returning to solitude. One of his fears is that he will only be the reflection of other personalities, lacking his own unique voice.
Fylarian has taken a shine to Draerotem, and even picked out his name. They have a father-son relationship. Drae personally sees nothing wrong with Fylarian, and isn't sure why some claim his father figure is... not a dragon. He adores Aneiglius like a mother, though her apprehensiveness gets on his nerves sometimes.
