Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Migaku is the first Tinsel born to Tentou and Kichou. Her name means "To Shine" in Japanese. She is very close to her older sisters Kissui, Muzai, Mujaki, and Suishou. She is an incredibly beautiful dragon, with glittering copper scales, and beautiful amber eyes. She is a very sweet dragon, with a sunny disposition. She loves to make new friends, and to spend time with the ones she already has. She is mated to Naosu, a handsome White dragon who stole her heart long ago. Migaku, had seen him at a social gathering, and began to harbor a secret crush on him. After awhile, she hatched a plan to catch his attention. She visited him at the healing compound where he works; and told him she wanted to make her scales shinier to attract the attention of a male. He told her she didn't need to, she was stunning just the way she was. She was thrilled, and they both blushed. They began courting, and then became mates. They are deeply in love, and always will be. They are soul mates.
