Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Magnol is the firstborn son of the oldest male in the Clan. His father had had two daughters before him, and Magnol always hated to hear them call him "cute." If it were not for his mother's and his sister's skills with healing, the eldest sister may have been scarred for life. As of reaching adulthood, Magnol became very fierce and gruff like his father, and brought vengeance upon his older sister. The combined efforts of his mother and sister were barely enough to heal the poor girl. Since then, Magnol has been sullen and reclusive, feeling horrible for what he did. The damage had been repaired and his older sister had forgiven him, but so far nobody has been able to make him feel better.
