Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This devastating dragon moved into the backyard garden of struggling peasants and proceeded to suck all the nutrients out of it. The peasants tried using hoes to salvage what they could around the edges of the garden from the tangle of vines in its center. This angered the dragon, who used his vines to entangle the luckless peasants and drain what little nutrition they had in them.

Neighbors heard the struggle but dared not interfere when they saw the lashing vines. Terrified to be anywhere near it, they quickly packed and departed the area. Now this dragon reigns from underground in the valley.  It lures animals in with sweet-smelling greenery on its vines—just to lynch them with those vines and have them for food once they get near enough.

Once a merry minstrel tried to use music to calm the savage beast, just to get rent asunder by the vines that swayed in time to his song. The dragon never speaks with his prey—he prefers to play with his food more physically!
