Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Argentea happily gets her glowing scales dirty if there's a job that needs doing. She sees herself as a practical dragon, always looking towards a goal and going for it. She mostly spends her time doing simple tasks like organizing food stores or keeping dens clean. Someone needs to do it, she says. Doing these ordinary, useful things fills her with satisfaction. She has a straightforward nature, which makes deception difficult for her, but also lets her see through to what matters: the results.

Her mate, Master Seraphim, says that that makes her a very predictable person. Before they were mated, she often became involved in his schemes to keep The Flight safe—which she never minded afterwards, since they ended in good. She started watching him closely after a while. They smiled as they talked of things like the pillows in his den or what to do about a conflict. He said he was just toying with her—but she saw right through him, to the heart that had fallen in love with her.
