Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

SecretMagma is the shiest Magma Dragon hatchling around. She's always hiding behind her father MajesticMagma or her big sister GloriousMagma. SecretMagma is scared of her mother BurningGlory, a Red Dragon who often loses her temper. BurningGlory just doesn't have the patience to deal with her shy daughter. When SecretMagma doesn't have her family nearby, she hides in patches of glowing lava.
