Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

If Today was Your Last Day is the leader of the Moonstruck Vampire Coven. He was abandoned after already being incapacitated as an egg. He didn't like it, but then he found a nice home of thousands of acres. There are lots of different breeds, but he keeps his clan in the depths of the forest to hunt other dragons- but they don't kill their prey. ITWYLD doesn't believe in murder, and he rubs off on his Coven. He changes babies every once in a while, but not every time he has the opportunity. He loves his Coven and would do anything for them. He is a fierce and loyal warrior and if anything threatens his Coven- eggs and Hatchlings included- he will fight to the death if need be. He only responds to his Trainer because she raised him and saved him, so he lets her near his family when she comes to visit.
