Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Undulation, on observing animals she was hunting fight each another, took an interest in animal combat. Rather than kill the winner, she took it back to her lair. She gathered other creatures to her lair, and set them against one another to see which ones would win. Thus she began a hobby of animal baiting.

Usually these fights result in the death of one of the participants, which Undulation then has for dinner. On rare occasions, the combatants will be so closely matched that she will separate and keep both.

Once, the creatures that Undulation kept escaped. Enraged, she caused earthquakes in the area for days, and flying boulders were a great hazard near her lair. This was because she focused her rage on building a larger combat arena and more secure creature pens deep underground. Now her captives have no hope but to live for the fights and eventually be eaten.
