Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Radiant Teller and Spiteful Liar dance a dangerous dance.

The Teller was raised to be honest, to enjoy days as much as she could without counting the hours, to believe that all terrible dragons could be raised to be good again, to look for the good in a person instead of the evil. When she met the Spiteful Liar, her world was flipped upside down.

The Liar went against everything she stood for, watching her with cold, dead eyes and stealing the life from her. It was easy for her, at first, to look through his empty lies, told with a cold eye and practiced monotone. But as he grew sharper and her senses duller, this used-to-be simple exercise wore into a daily torture that could go on for hours at a time.

She's still trying to get him to be honest, but it's not working. It doesn't seem to be working. And she couldn't possibly tell that the Liar's lies are more empty than spiteful now. She's gone through too much.
