Pink Dragons are primarily herbivores and only eat meat during the mating season, when mates will exchange kills. When it is not breeding season, pink dragons spend most of their time incubating eggs and caring for their clan’s young. Due to their feminine color, it was traditionally thought that pink dragons were a strictly female breed, but this is not true.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A highly curious, inquisitive individual, this male was born during a period of great upheaval for the pink dragon breed. Born with pale colors at a time when the bright variety were suddenly and inexplicably vanishing, he spent his childhood watching his more vibrant comrades disappear one after the other, scenes that remain etched in his mind to this very day. But, even after all that, he still has hope.

Brave and determined, and freshly an adult, the young pink has taken it upon himself to discover the cause of the  bright pink's extinction. Whether it was plague, curse, or something else entirely, he's vowed to discover its secrets and put a stop to it once and for all--before the same fate can befall those few of his brilliantly-hued friends who remain.

His mother and grandmother, remnants of that lost breed, both know the real cause (the wrath of an artistic sorceress is terrifying!), but they think it's good that he's applying himself and have decided not to tell him just yet.
