Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Guard of the Sunset (known as Tesi when off of the guard) and her sister (guard of the Sunrise, also known as Hari) are the guardians of the clan. Due to being a sunset dragon, Tesi stays alert and watchful throughout the night, retiring as Hari comes in with the day.

Whenever a possible threat is located, Tesi will do what is necessary to keep the clan safe. Occasionally she will call upon the black dragons of the clan to keep enemies at bay. She usually avoids close combat, instead opting for flame attacks. The streaks of flame stretch several yards, and the light is comparable to that of a fiery sunset.

Because of this formidable weapon, very few adversaries dare to attack the clan. Most of the nights are peaceful, and Tesi spends the time hunting, flying, or patiently waiting for the sunrise and the rise of her sister.
