Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Another vain Flamingo within a vast family of them, Mauve (his common nickname) is a queen. He spends hours each and every day cleaning and caring for his scales. Because of these habits, his scales actually look more like a female Flamingo's, leading to a bit of confusion during first meetings. Mauve is arrogant, but he's not completely heartless. He's a true social butterfly and has been known to make friends faster than the snap of a claw. During his long, laborious grooming sessions, her will lie by the tide pools of his home and talk for hours upon hours to anyone who will listen. It isn't uncommon to see an entire gaggle of different dragons gathered around him, listening to and talking with him. Mauve enjoys attention. He'd probably die without it. He thrives in environments where he can share the air with tons of others, hence why he will always follow large groups. He isn't necessarily obsessed with pleasing others, more just being around them. He also has a fantastic memory.
