Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As the first whiptail dragon of the cave, it is up to Snap Dragon to discover his strengths and develop the arts which the other whiptails will follow in their turn. He spends long hours studying the abilities of his special tail to learn its abilities, and develop a fighting method for himself. He watches all the various fighting dragons and adapts various moves and methods to his own abilities and uses, preparing to train all the whiptails to come.
