Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The most ignored tinsel on Xythus's scroll, Stupid is exactly what her name suggests. Assigned as the breeding mother in the Tinsel Clan (aka, the dragon that is in charge of reproducing their own kind, then tending to them til maturity), she is unable to do even that. Stupid is kindhearted and well intentioned; she is not unintelligent on purpose, but unfortunately, she is is indeed stupid. No one knows why she behaves the way she does, but many dragons have noticed a slight bump on the left side of her head.
