Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

BeautyCult is not the smartest Moonstone Dragon around. She is also a member of the Flower Cult, a peaceful group of dragons who do not choose their own mates. Instead a higher up decides who they marry—species, color, and personality all taken into account. BeautyCult is very pretty, and she doesn't have to work for it; her natural beauty stops dragon bucks in their tracks. But she has never had to work hard, things have just been given to her for her whole life. As an adult, BeautyCult had no idea what to do, so she went along with the group that promised to give her whatever she wanted. The Flower Cult hasn't really done this, since BeautyCult always wants gems and gold but never gets any. However, she is actually too stupid to notice.
