Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Winter's Eternity, like all seasonal dragons, only stays in the Valley of Kan in the winter time. When she is not in the Valley of Kan, she takes residence in the land of Winter Solstice, a land locked in eternal twilight of winter and spring. Since the land of Winter Solstice is largely unmapped and unexplored, Kanakha has placed the Winter and Spring dragons in charge of mapping it out. Winter's Eternity has seen many new and unimaginable things during her explorations. She recently helped Iaho, a white dragon from Kan Valley, recover an ancient and mythical key called J'fuso (meaning "Space" in standardized Saurian). The key is said to be one of three, and when paired with the two other ancient keys Mukkoh and Kamo ("Matter" and "Time") would unlock the legendary Sulohd J'fuso, Cavern of Space. The cavern is said to lead to different dimensions, realities, and times. This is just one of many adventures Winter's Eternity has seen.
