Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Mageia, found exclusively in desert regions, are thought to be the wisest Xenowyrm subspecies. Due to their knowledge of the magi element, they are able to cast a variety of magics, including teleportation. Their beautiful yellow scutes are reflective and smooth like glass, making them very valuable to collectors.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Demonworm belongs to a clan that, unfortunately, has historically been prejudiced against xenowyrms. Ever since her egg was finally brought back by a team of exhausted snatchers, she has been the subject of everything from suspicion to intense hatred and jealousy. These malicious feelings are due to the fact that she is a xenowyrm: a breed that is for some reason extremely rare and valuable, which causes them to be resented or even feared by some dragons. In fact, once news spread of her existence, many traders came from faraway attempting to bribe, bargain, and scam her clan into selling her to them. They claimed that anyone who had a xenowyrm could get everyone else to do their bidding, and spoke of hundreds of rare gold and silver eggs being traded for specimens like her. Such was their rabid greed that her clan thankfully refused to sell her into slavery in exchange for treasure. However, the feelings of hatred persist even today, and Demonworm is shunned by many of her clanmates.
