Crimson Flare Pygmies are named after their small size and speed. They are fast and love to fly up and down in steep climbs and dives, giving the impression of a flare of color in the sky. These dragons travel in swarms during migration seasons and are very social. They live in tropical locations or wherever it is warm, and they are often seen near active volcanoes.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

Ki-jun-ie is a small dragon, but has a powerful blow. One time she took out Palon in a match, and her owner was very impressed with the moves she had. Her diet consists of infant rat and minnows. She can do many aerial twists and spins, and at times she can make a fire hoop to go into. She has been entered in many dragon competitions, and has won almost three fourths of them. She is very respectful to other dragons, and can sometimes be seen trying to teach mature hatchlings how to fly. Kijunie is a nice and cooperative dragon towards others and humans, and in return, is admired greatly.
