Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gypsy wasn't the silver dragoness' birth name. Her Keeper had originally called her Dark Beauty. The Keeper had been so enthralled and enamored (like most others) by the gifted hatchling she was unaware it came with a mission: infiltrate, recruit and more. Through much effort, her Keeper eventually pieced together vague rumors of dragons named Jipci and chickens returning to a plane or place from beyond the reaches of even GoNs.

To stop the manipulation Dark Beauty had started, the Keeper began some manipulation of her own. She explained to the dragoness that, after study of ancient texts, there was an error in translation and Jipci was really Gypsy. And just like the "legends", Dark Beauty was considered exotic and captivating, and many were drawn to her tales and joining her travels. And so Dark Beauty took the name Gypsy as the first of her kind. She would wander, share and gather all sorts (chickens and dragons) until they could find a way to return to their true home.
