Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Voz is one of the many sons of Hakumei and Tsukimi. He was raised in one of their largest clutches ever, 10 hatchlings. He was raised alongside his siblings Kalyan, Ahsan Raksha, Bijay, Bijoy, Kanti, Aditi, Casy, Caxy, and Sati. Voz was found wandering with Aditi, Casy, Caxy, and Sati; who were all found by Kalyan, Ahsan Raksha, Bijay, Bijoy, and Kanti. Voz is the first gay dragon in the colony. His name has no meaning. He has a pet chicken named Chirp Chirp the bird. He is so far the only male dragon to live in the bachelorette colony, as he made a vow to stay with, and protect, his sister until they all found mates. He is in love with Gulabi, but they are waiting to become mates.
