Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It enjoys gathering pebbles and other small rocks and putting them in a pile.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Vini is a rather peculiar hatchling. He doesn't like to play with the other hatchlings and can most often be found cuddled up against a Pillow dragon with a book of some sort near him. The adult dragons aren't sure where Vini is getting the books. As far as they know, Vini has never been to the nearby human village to procure them. What they don't know is that Vini has a friend among the human children that he regularly meets with during the day when Vini is supposed to be hunting.
