Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bo's Letale Corruzione was the second vampire ever in the Bo Clan, but the first to mature into an adult. His name means 'Deadly Corruption' in Italian! This humorous, frivolous male enjoys socializing with all dragons that have fangs. He was never made fun of as an egg or hatchling because the other dragons sensed something powerful in him. When Bo's Letale Corruzione finally matured into an adult, the leader of the Bo Clan, Bo's Shadow Warrior, pronounced him the first ever Guard. He was to be the Captain of the Vampire Guards, which meant he was to be close by the eggs and unfrozen hatchlings at all times. Because of this, Bo's Letale Corruzione made himself a den whose circular entrance slices straight down into the ground. The other vampires live in the Vampire Cave, however, and Bo's Letale Corruzione summons them when needed.
