Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, smaller in females, aiding both in digging up food and protection from attack. Females are noticeably brighter than males due to their habit of not straying far from particularly algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Valfedora had often been a curious hatchling among the adults for she was really dark-pink to reddish in color. While Flamingo dragons often mind their own business filtering brine and algae from the water among Flamingos, Valfedora would wander off in the thick grass to prey upon toads and lizards. As she grew into adulthood, the small toads and lizards would no longer satiate her hunger, so she began eating hatchlings and flamingo chicks that would wander out of their parents' sight. The taste of blood soon grew into a sadistic lust for blood as she began to take pleasure in seeing the fearful looks on the poor younglings' faces before the water runs red. She was banished from the wetlands when the population noticed a large drop in youngling-to-adulthood survival.  Valfedora only smiled as she left to lurk the swamps nearby, where she began to prey on smaller dragons.
