Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Flyleaf had a very normal hatchling and grew up a little bit later than the other hatchlings. However, soon after she had matured she picked a fight with Malvolo, a very gruff and tough red dragon. They got in a violent fight and Flyleaf got whacked very hard in the head and was knocked out for two days. When she woke up she did not remember anything, not even her own name. But after a few days Flyleaf started calling herself Poisonpaw, and she has stuck with the name ever since . She is unfriendly for the most part and she is very lazy. Because of her undesirable personality she holds a middle rank in the Darkshire clan. She's a guard and is very good at it, but Poisonpaw is very unhappy with it. She enjoys scaring the newborn hatchlings and nipping at the other dragons feet.
