Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Two Hour Snow had a good home. He had friends, a good family, and hatched under the care of a cave owner he thought to be decent. Little did Two Hour Snow know that he would be neglected, and come close to death. The cave owner was too worried about his reputation to house a dragon in distress. With only two hours left to live, Two Hour Snow was abandoned at the mouth of the dragon cave.

A kind heart came across him a few minutes later. She took him in and tried to nurse him back to health, but did not succeed. Broken hearted, she offered it to a stranger passing by. When she saw the poor hatchling in the girl's arms, she couldn't refuse.

With only a few minutes to live, Two hour Snow fought as hard as he could to stay alive. He did not want to die, and this will growing deep inside him was too great for the power of death.

Now nearly a century old, Two Hour Snow is still living a happy life under the care of the kind hearted stranger.
