Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pine Scented Merriment is a Yulebuck dragon. He is very handsome, but he prefers to spend his time alone than with his mate, Golden Angel Wings, a full-gold snow angel dragon. He likes to eat a candy called 'Peppermint Canes' or 'Mints', and will go into human villages to raid their factories in hope of finding the canes. Sometimes, he comes back with a lot of Peppermint Canes and Mints of different sizes, shapes, and tastes to feast on with his little friend, Winter's Peppermint Canes, another Yulebuck dragon who also loves Peppermint Canes. He is extremely shy.Unlike the other Yulebuck dragons, he loves humans, but he will only let them pet him, and then go back into the forest, resuming the Christmas preparations for each year.
