Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ogoun is a powerful and vigorous warrior, one of the strongest in his clan. He has a fierce temper, but a good heart, and is terribly protective of the youngsters. (It is rather touching, actually, to see this gigantic fierce dragon being climbed on by small cute babies, tolerating their pulling, jumping and squealing with immense patience.) He is an idealist, and detests slavery and oppression—would-be tyrants in other dragon clans or in human communities tremble at his approach. When fighting, he has been known to enter a state of battle-fury where nothing else matters, and no pain seems to register no matter how grievously wounded he is—though he may need a long session with Aesklepios the healer afterwards. He is an excellent strategist and battle-planner as well, and has a sound mind to match his strong body. The humans in nearby villages often bring him tributes of flaming rum and tobacco, which he drinks and eats without apparent harmful consequences, to the awe of all.
