Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Electric yellow scales shimmer brightly across its belly, and an even brighter spark adorns its tail.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Symphony always enjoyed being a "conductor," and perhaps that's how he gained his appreciation for corny jokes. When the rest of the cave dragons are cowering during a severe storm, Symphony directs strikes at the lightening like some great xylophone. Since he can't hit the lightening himself, as he is too slow, the rest of his family, brothers, sisters, mother, father nephews and nieces, strike the lightning for him. He is forever young like the storms he orchestrates.
