Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. He focuses a lot on details and practical things. Ceasar has an excellent sense of expediency and grasp of the details which enables him to make quick, effective decisions. Where ever Ceasar goes he leaves a trail of leaves that don't wither away. These leaves are actually scales that fall of from his tail. His scales look like leaves because he is a seasonal dragon that is born in the summer taking the appearance of such warm weather. His lost scales grow back. Ceasar is optimistic, full of good cheer, loyal to his equals, uncomplicated in his desires, trusting and receptive dragon who want no part in confining commitments. When Ceasar is over-stressed he may exhibit rash emotional outbursts.
