Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

The moment this hatchling took it's first breath, it vowed to grow up to be like Beyond Birthday, though due to a spell gone wrong, it never aged. It never even had a gender. It always stares in the background as the other hatchlings grow, while it does not, its eyes glowing with a soft, sad light. Humans and dragons alike started calling this poor creature 'Broken Vow', for the vow it never had a chance to keep.
