Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

PreyingMantis is a caring and wise dragon. She is protective of the cave she shares with her cavemates and has been known to frighten off many a Dragonslayer and Egg Thief with a simple small boulder thrown in their direction, though she has never actually killed any of them and ensured that wouldn't with very good aim.

Many of the other females within her cave often seek her out for advice on nest placement and what mate they should take and she offers that advice freely and without pride or thinking that she knows everything.

She is also constantly learning new things and finds delight with each new discovery she makes.
