Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

One evening when the baby hatchling was out on a venture he discovered something silver and shiny lying in the ground. Curious as to what he was, he carried it back to his grandfather in the cave. The old dragon squinted at the glinting piece of metal and looked at the eager hatchling. He told the bundle of anticipation, "This is what the humans call a 'dime'. They use it to buy things, like food and belongings." The baby scampered off with the coin and admired it as it glinted, wondering of all the possibilities. It seemed as though there were infinite sides and possibilities to the strange object, and with a grin he decided to take on a name after the fantastical thing. Still today he keeps it hidden away amongst his treasure, gently cleaning and blowing on it frequently to make sure it keeps on shining for years to come.
