Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Bronzea is cute and funloving. She is just about as much of a 'lap-dragon' as possible while still being as big as a mammoth. She likes nothing better than a cuddle, and Sabi has learned to saddle and bridle train her, and they sometimes go for rides. Sabi has entered her in several dragon shows, such as the International Ochredrake Assosiation Show (IOAS), or the Australian Ochredrake Fanciers Society (AOFS). As most of the other dragons Sabi owns are too intelligent and proud to let themselves be shown, Sabi takes full advantage of Bronzea and the other Ochredrakes when it comes to beauty contests. Bronzea even won Best in Show in the 2010 International Dragon Show!
