Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A Vampire dragon of the antediluvian level (that being a vampire dragon only two generations removed from the original Vampire Dragons), he is a being of near inexplicable power. The name Cappadocius is not in fact his real name, but rather an epithet derived from his statements that he is "from Cappadocia". He is obsessed with death and the mysteries that lay hidden beyond the shroud of death. A visionary and a scholar, his lineage all bear the curse of Clan Cappadocian-- an inescapable deathly visage and an equal persistent smell of decaying flesh.

He is actually quite friendly with the mortal population, willing to hear out their grievances on affairs in which their well-being is at stake. He has a "hands off" attitude toward the governance of his clan, often leaving such trivial matters up to his direct "children".
