Oracle Wyrms find solace in quiet, secluded areas with mist or fog, such as swamps, oceans, and in the valleys between mountains. In this environment, they enjoy hiding, spying, and contemplating deeply. Oracle Wyrms prefer to live in solitude away from other dragons. However, when they cross paths with one, these wyrms move their floating whiskers to enhance communication, often boasting the intricate riddles they’ve come up with. Their solitary nature has led to the belief that spotting one is a terrible omen and will bring misfortune. Despite this, these wyrms do not bring any harm or misfortune, but merely observe humans as well as animals, livestock, insects and whatever else they can find. They particularly enjoy observing small villages, occasionally inciting harmless mischief.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Genwaku loves observing the flight of birds, particularly small seabirds with pretty feathers. During particularly foggy days, when there is plenty of cloud cover to hide him, Genwaku can observe the antics of a single bird for hours. Sometimes he wishes he had human arms so he could feed the birds and see how they react. Fortunately, there are usually some ships on the waters every day, and he can watch how those humans interact with the birds. Occasionally Genwaku spots a brightly colored exotic bird sitting on a sailor's shoulder, and he will follow that sailor's boat for miles just to watch the bird. He finds that he can't do this for very long though, since the parrots in particular seem to be good at sensing his spying and will try to talk to him. The last time Genwaku tried to introduce himself to a parrot, the bird's owner spooked quite badly and almost threw the bird overboard. Genwaku no longer tries to introduce himself to sailor's parrots.
