White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

One morning, the egg containing Fionnulla was found outside the cave. She was handed over to the caring pink dragons, and hatched as all eggs normally do, and then she was transferred over to the hatchlingkarten. But unlike the other orphan hatchlings, Fionnulla didn't accept the fact that she didn't have a parent. Twice she ran away because she wanted to find her family, but she would always get lost, and searching companies from the cave would be sent out for her.

The last time she disappeared, a dragon of the same breed as her, Evariel, joined the searching company. And when they found her, she saw that he was the same as herself, and thought he was her father. He explained that he wasn't yet, but if she'd let him, he'd be delighted to adopt her.

And from that day on, the two of them have been family.
