Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Squ used to be a joyful, happy-go-lucky dragon until her mother was slain by a dragon slayer. She became very depressed and sought revenge on the slayer. The revenge was sweet but did nothing to cheer her up. She at least got justice on her mother's killer. She was delighted when she heard that the human looking over them was going to perform a spell to bring her mother back to life. Unfortunately, this only turned her mother into a zombie. Squ felt even more depressed, as she never got her mother back. The zombified version of her mother wasn't the same. She cried over her tombstone during the day and laments at night whenever she sees her mother in the caverns in the mountains.
