White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Felicia Whitewing, much like the other White dragons within the Draconic Revolution, is a curious mix between the fierce and the kind. Between her urge to protect her charges from all harm, and her conviction that someone is going to sneak onto the island at any time, she is forever warring with her pacifist nature in the hope that she'll do what is required of her to protect those in her care.

Although Dragon Writer constantly reassures her that her worrying is useless, he has nevertheless arranged for the other dragons to teach her methods of incapacitation that do not involve actual harm.

Methods which, much to his regret, she has been steadily practicing on him since first finding out that any intruder would very likely be human.
