Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Azuretail is a kind, responsible, and strict dragon. She is Skylyte's best friend, but they are almost complete opposites (Skylyte is playful and mischevious).Azuretail dislikes it when Skylyte wasn't where he said he was going to be. Thus, she is very suspicous when Skylyte comes back with not a lot of prey and insisting he had been "hunting." Azuretail would like to give him a good amount of scolding, but her owner doesn't even comment on the amount of prey Skylyte brought back. Neverless, Azuretail, like all Skywing dragons, inheirits the joy of racing other dragons. Azuretail races Skylyte a lot, but Skylyte always wins. Their owner secretly knows that Skylyte sneaks out of the territory to race other dragons (this explains what he had been up to when he was "hunting"). Azuretail lives in the Sky Territory, which has an ample amount of trees, a huge lake, mountains, caves, hills, plains, and has the ocean next to it.
