Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon... except for the tangle of dangerous-looking vines surrounding it...

Now there are even more vines. Perhaps something is happening?

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Sennyln is determined to be a "big dragon", so he spends a lot of time digging burrows around the lair and hiding in them.  When another hatchling comes by he tries to grab them with his vines and lets loose a fearsome roar.  Of course, his roar sounds more like a loud squeak, but Sennyln doesn't let that stop him.  His least favorite thing is when one of the big dragons doesn't see him in his burrow and steps on him.  It's lead to a few squashed vines and hatchling tears.
