Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Uplifted Angel is the type of dragon that thinks she is perfect and is always having contests with Beauty and Grace to see who is more pretty and perfect. Uplifted Angel loves the noon, just like Beauty and Grace, because it makes her velvety purple coat shine in the sun. Most dragons think that Uplifted Angel and Beauty and Grace could be sisters, the way they are perfectly alike but always get into fights. The only thing different about Uplifted Angel and Beauty and Grace is that Uplifted Angel has a hidden scar on her ribs because when she was a hatchling an adult dragon thought that Uplifted Angel was too boastful and got into a fight that nearly took away Uplifted Angel's live. That's where her name came from. She tries not to remember that day but it keeps coming back to her in her dreams.
