Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon loves flying more than anything else--well, anything else other than being beautiful, at any rate. However, as is always the case with luminas, even that seemingly innocent enjoyment of his has its roots in vanity; time spent in flight is time that nasty dust and mud aren't collecting on his scales, and it also allows him to get a good view of everyone living around his territory--and thus allowing him to visually confirm his status as the most gorgeous creature in the area... at least in his eyes.
