White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The wise Mothfeather is the Clan Healer. She is very old; the only two dragons in the clan older than her are Sweetfaerie and Lotusbloom. As a white dragon she has great healing powers, and has many times saved the lives of her fellow clan members. She also runs the Winchester Clan nursery, along with Crackersnap (her mate, a feisty whiptail) and the pink dragon Rosytalon.
