Blacktip Dragons are a small, shore-dwelling breed that tend to nest on sheer ocean side cliffs. They live in groups under a dominant female, who prevents her subordinates from breeding. During the mating season, a group of Blacktips can be very noisy and smelly indeed; males produce a distinctive musky odor and loud, low-pitched honking noises in an attempt to woo the alpha female.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A pretty standard male Blacktip, at least as far as nature is concerned. Pelican is a rather timid, submissive dragon who looks up to his sister, Heron, immensely, treating her as if she were a queen (but, no, he doesn't see her as a mate to impress, that's gross.) He constantly follows her around, doing whatever she or his other sister, Flamingo, says at the flick of a wing. The siblings are actually very trusting of one another. If Pelican is ever in danger, the sisters will always swoop in to protect him, which makes their relationship rather wholesome. Pelican is a cinnamon roll (in personality, the same unfortunately cannot be said for his scent) and treats everyone very sweetly, not just his sisters. He does have a stuttering problem, which gets worse the more nervous he becomes, but it generally isn't an issue. So long as he's in a comfortable environment, he can control it decently well. He does tend to be a bit too trusting and gullible, a vulnerability his sisters deal with.
